Team Coaching

Team coaching means helping a team to operate in an effective and autonomous way. The coach assists it to direct its own learning process while keeping his objectives centre stage. The aim of team coaching is to support the development of the collective performance of a team, in a way that is both monitored and measured, so that the operational result of the whole is much greater than the potential of the sum of its members. This does not mean team building – which can also be achieved through a coaching programme – but support of a kind which is an integral part of the team function and which leads to the full and complete autonomy of the team.
